My new chicken house for your approval... can be split into two for breeding or kept open for chicks, 5 foot by three, hinged at back of roof to provide access for cleaning. Will fence next, will be putting head height fencing in so I can stand inside. The blue lines are attached to the tops of the doors and can be pulled from outside the coop to open the doors and released to close, to be tied off on fence post.

These are all the chicks that are from a Standard Grey American Game Hen that went broody and then the day they hatched abandon the nest and I stuck'em in the incubator and they started ahatchin' Away!
This is the one that hatched this morning. Black & White Bantam Chick. ( It hatched from a standard egg, though! Weird ... huh? )

This is a Red/Brown Standard EE chick. This chick is very lucky to still even be alive! His Story: A few days ago I opened the incubator and found 2 baby chicks, I put them both in the brooder w/ the other chicks. Then I went back out to the incubator and I opened it up to check on the other eggs and I heard a very loud cheeping/chirping noise. So I listened to all of the eggs but I didn't hear anything. So then I started thinking and I heard a chirp at the bottom of the incubator so what I figured what happened was that the baby chick had climbed out of the egg tray and had fallen back behind the egg tray and had gotten stuck! So we had to get the eggs out and turn of the incubator and turn it upside down and my little brother climbed in their and rescued the little chickie!!

This is a Standard chick that hatched out of a huge giant egg. He was so fat the first day he hatched he couldn't walk around ... so he waddled like a duck! lol :lol No idea on breed, or what he's mixed with?
