I always pour hot water onto the frozen water to melt it.

We have about an inch or so. Supposed to rain though. We really don't need weather forcasters. The weather changes so much they nail the forcast everytime.

the snow here in Kettering is melting, but where my animals live, in Lincolnshire, it was snowing all day!! my problem is, that the cold freezes the hose pipe
