By far BYC is the best, all around chicken site on the web! We have a diversity of people on here and I think that's why it stays interesting. Let's keep doing what we're doing, because WE'RE DOING IT RIGHT!

This is what I keep hearing about BYC. I'm pretty new to this forum, and chickens, but because I like this forum so much, I haven't even bothered to look else where. I'm a one-forum-kind-of-gal!!! I DON'T CHEAT!!!!

I started with a different forum, but the rules didn't really allow anyone to post anything if they weren't a moderator. The rules were quite plain when it came to, "if you have any questions read such and such books first before you even dare post your trivial question on this message board." That may not be an exact, direct quote, but it was definitely the impression given.

I needed to be some place where I could ask the questions that are answered in the books -- cuz sometimes the books just aren't enough (like how to treat a hen with an injured foot that's turning green -- that wasn't in any of the books I looked at, but I did get an idea of what to do when I looked here).
