Hello fellow Chicken lovers! My name is Linda from Round Rock, Texas (outside Austin). My son and I decided to start a new adventure together, and raise chickens. I figured he's 16 and growing like a weed, so having an abundance of eggs wouldn't be a bad thing! We found an awesome breeder outside Leander, and picked up five beautiful chickens. 2 Rhode Island Red's(Dixie and Remi) that are starting to lay very soon, and three more that are only 3 months old; 1 Plymoth Rock (Roxie), one Silver-Laced Wyandotte (Winnie), and one mix Buff Orpington/Rhode Island Red (Buffie). This site has already proven tons of information for me, as I knew nothing about chickens a week ago. I'm looking forward to researching more and raising healthy chickens!
