Lots of protein, which means good meat production.

If the maggots and battery cages bother you, then why not process your own? Tastes better anyways.

I eat only my chickens eggs and we raise and slaughter our own pigs. The chickens are for eggs only. Will never eat them.

Well, Its kinda funny really, because, I free range my birds all day. They are only ever locked in at night. I hate to think of all the weird stuff they dig up and eat from the compost... Hell, I am still gonna eat em. At least I know they are eating how nature intended them to eat.

And tilapia - I believe their original pupose was to scavenge the poo in the tanks where they raise bass!
