I'm so inexperienced ! Please help.

If you think your humidity is correct with a correct temp, (45% to 50% humidity, 99.5 temp), and the eggs are all being turned and set large end up, incubator in a room with constant temps humidity and no drafts, I would just sit back and wait! You don't have to candle eggs. If they are supposedly fertile, then you should be good to go.

What day are you on?

I don't candle until day 7 but it's hard to wait that long. Sally Sunshine's article is very helpful. Good luck to you.

@twocrows ! I have such good news!!! I candled my blue egg this morning and I clearly see the veins. It's not much but I'm sure I'll see some more tomorrow! Thanks for your help. I would've stopped yesterday but thanks to your incouragement I'm glad I didnt !

That is great news!!! BUT...if your incubator is near a doorway with breezes and humidity changes, you might move the incubator or not use this door. The best hatches are done in rooms with constant still air.

Terrific news! Go easy on the candling because each time you open the lid you are releasing moisture and heat. I usually candle around day 10 and pitch any eggs that have not developed and then I candle again at lock down when I am putting down some non skid material in the incubator. (you want the chicks to have sure footing to help prevent splay legs) But you can candle as you wish here.

Good luck and keep us posted on the hatch!! I will egg-cited to see your chic pics!! :)
