I'm so new I don't even have any chickens yet!! But I'm almost ready.

I found this website last week and already have learned a ton of stuff. Just purchased 7 acres with house and 3 stall horse barn. We have 5 horses but they prefer to free roam so I am putting the stalls to good use. One will be my chicken coop. I built a chicken nesting box, roost, feeder and waterer all for only $12!!! The $12 was for the chicken nipples...all the rest was free!

I will try to post some pictures in the appropriate area of this site!

You may find that chickens are very dusty to keep in a barn with horses - if you keep your horses in at all you might want to consider a separate coop.
