Today 3 of my 8 babies were eaten. Something broke into their cage and when we came home 3 were missing. Im extremely sad. The only good part that happend was that whatever it was took the 2 roosters which were going away soon anyways. But im extremely upset about my little white polish hen that is now gone. Its awful. :

i HATE it! I have had one or two get eaten by a hawk, but at that point i had about 40, so i didnt have a bond with them. But these i did.

i have lost manychicks and chickens both from natural and predators. several were very special and i will never forget them. ruby = mo - minnie. ava. i can honestly feel your sadness. but think of the ones you have left and how you can let them grow special to you/.
