I'm so thrilled! I hear Peeping!

lockdown started Saturday at 9pm and with 10 eggs (started out with 24 lol who knows what mix I have) I candled them and couldn't see through the egg's but was pretty positive what 10 eggs I had were ok at that point. Well I've been gently tapping on the glass periodically and thought it was cool to watch the eggs rock back and forth. Well my boyfriend kept talking today and I swore I heard a peep but then thought my ears were playing tricks on me. The more he talked the more I kept hearing something, I shooshed him lol and he got a little look like what?? lol

I'm typing this and have at least two going back and forth off and on. Tonight was day 21 so I will be nervous until something else happens. I am hoping I get one that survives, all of the eggs have been rocking in the last 24 hours and now peeping so at least I think I've done something successful with my very first hatch. Did I post before I have 15 day old Barred Rocks coming too from mypetchicken.com ha ha it's so addicting

Good luck mine go into lockdown on the 30th.......First hatch also I am sooooo excited!!

Isn't it sooo exciting? Our pomeranian always hears them way before I do and I know when they are getting ready because he stands on his hind legs and tries to see into the bator lol.

It is so exciting! This is way worse than delivering a baby.... or well waiting on the delivery I should say. I keep checking the bator every five minute especially when the peeping gets louder.
