Looks like a strain of American Gamefowl, whom are often labelled for their lines. (Butcher, Hatch, Roundhead, Hulsey, etc)

Agreed and despriptions and pictures would be espcially needed for gamefowl. But jerseygirl, your not likely to find any info on the person you are looking for, its just with american gamefowl they carry the name of the person who created the particular strain, some times its just the last name and sometimes its the full name, like there are Sid Taylors, Shorty Bullock greys, Hulseys, ect.. are just a few I can name off the top of my head. So its just the person who made the particular strain and not necesscarily a reknown person that would have a lot of info on them.
 
Just a comment, the people that are involved would know who Jimmy East is and his Dad also. Old time breeder of Gamefowl. Best place to find info on these is look in some of the Gamefowl Magazine. Don
 
Lots of game chicken folks in East Alabama. If you google Jimmy East Game Fowl you should get plenty of hits.

The bigger issue to me is that unless you know the people involved very well, how would you ever know that what you were buying was truly the strain that they were reputed to be?
