I'm Thinking Barthuhner Easter Egger Cross

I got a rooster today and he looks like a Barthuhner but has less red and orange on him. My mom said something about easter egger cross but I am confused now because I found a couple pics of some Barthuhners that look just like him and they are purebred.

He looks like some kind of cross. Looking up the Barthuhner, their comb shape is different. Barthuhners have rose combs.

He has a rose comb but it is smaller and looks like he was breed with something with a single comb. His comb looks just like the rose but the middle peace has ridges in it.
