I'm Thinking of a Goat!?!

I am so excited. We struck a deal this evening for 2 milking goats and 4 babies

They will arrive in about 2 weeks or less.

What about a dog kennel?? They could sleep in there at night and then you could tether the goats during the day...until you convince DH to put up a fence

I've known a few people who tether their goats, and they do pretty well.

You could tether a goat, but I have heard that a tethered goat is great prey for dogs, and they have no way to escape. Someone here recently lost theirs because it was tethered and wrapped itself around the tree and broke its neck trying to escape some loose dogs.

BUT, the kennel idea is a good one. Maybe once your DH sees how sweet they are he will make them a fence then!
