I'm totally numb

Wow, I'm not quite sure what to say. My whole flock is gone. Something came through the netting on top. Was big enough to knock over two large metal trash cans of feed, pull the feeder from the chain inside the coop, knock a full 3 gallon waterer 30 feet and half eat all of my lovely girls. I don't have a freakin' clue, but I want to go hurt something really badly right now. Not a hawk, one has been tangled in the netting but never gotten through it . . . bobcat? I don't know.

Of course I'll replace them, but right now I'm just so mad and sad.

So sorry for your loss! Always think the coop is perfect and bam, some darn predator manages to break it.

With the knocking of things over and the skill to pull the feeder from the chain inside, I say it was a coon if it was at night...

I dont have any idea what it could be being allllll the wayyyyy over here in OZ but i'd be sitting up waiting for its return with a couple of friends

I think it's just been a week for predators! It does sound like a coon or something. Poor girls.
