I made these Yesterday (most are found on facebook either 'The Poultry Pages' a facebook group or 'Megs Eggs' My Chicken Account)

A few of the pictures are a little idealistic, but its a generalisation especially with the mottleds.
I'd Like to hear what other colour combo's people would like to see or what they have produced when they colour crossed. also other peoples experiences on colour auto-sexing.

Auto-Sexing Chocolates (gender specific pic's)


Millefleur x Chocolate = Chocolate, Chocolate Mottled, Chocolate Buff-Columbian, Chocolate Millefleur (female)
Millefleur x Chocolate = Black, Black Mottled, Buff-Columbian, Millefleur (all males carry chocolate gene)

Black Mottled x Chocolate = Chocolate, Chocolate Mottled | Black, Black Mottled (males carry chocolate gene)


Millefleur x Lavender = Black, Black Mottled, Buff-Columbian, Millefleur
2nd Generation Millefleur x 2nd Generation Millefleur = Millefleur (75%) Porcelain (25%)

Very nice! For those who do better with pictures than with written explanation this should be very useful.

Your very last example should be 50/50, not 75/25, and in your mille fleur and mottle crosses to birds without mottle, there will be no mille fleur or mottle showing in the first generation; however, all will inherit it.

really? when I did the x I got both millelfeur and mottled...ish admittedly it just looked like leakage of white but it breeds better when 2nd gen breed together.
and Oops with the splash x blue I should know better
