imagine my moms surprise for mothers day my new run and coop..PICS

My dad and I got stakes and chicken wire at TSC and our local farm store we used a whole 50'X4' role. pics in a few minutes. I think this will work for 7 chickens.

Will they be protected from hawks and such out there?

Isn't it fun getting new stuff for our chicks? How old are yours?

Funny actually when we were putting it up a hawk flew by with many crows attacking him. They will have a "coop" like a converted rabbit hutch made for chickens. They have only been in their 6 hours look at the poop! they are three and a half weeks!

Will you be shutting them in your coop at night?

Nice run I'll have to stop by and check it out. I get my wire tomarrow so I'll problably have the one I'm working on finished by the end of the week.

we will close the top of the hutch at night and we will put poultry netting over the top or a section. Brandon it is a lot bigger than it looks. when you come over you will be surprised! its more than 50 sq.feet! Also those stakes will mess up a hawk. For some reason when it finally was done I kept thinking ooo ducks!!

the bigger thing that im worried worried about is coyotes, coons, weasels, and fox. the wholes at the bottom are enough for something to slip under (weasel)
