Okay, that settles it. I've been mulling over the whole breed thing - which one, which one.... Black Sex Links were on the list - and now they're definitely at the top!

Can I have a bite of that sammie...you're gonna have PLENTY.

Out of 18 black sex-links that are 25 weeks old, we are getting 10 - 11 eggs daily. They are really good birds. I have barred rocks too, and they are also good layers.

My DH just called and said he was cooking grits and eggs for supper tonight. I told him to leave my monster egg alone! That is for my sandwich!!

WOWza!! That sure is a biggie!! Our biggest was nearly 3" long. Poor hens. But not only that, it was a double yoker, and we got 3 of those prizes 3 days in a row!!! We recorded the event(cracking them open) which was pretty cool, and a little funny.

Ok, that's it, I am Totally hungry now. Egg, mayo, meat, tomato, Mmmmm... *goes off to kitchen in search of food*
