I always like to imagine hens having this internal dialog, as well as their obvious social dialog with each other.

But then I just like to entertain myself that way I guess.

Surprisingly enough, these two - Maggie and Lilith, usually get along.
Now my two top hens, Brigid and Chloe, occasionally get into some knock down, drag out, feather pulling, claws flying fights. Even my rooster backs away when those two go at it.

Most of my birds lay their eggs in the woods somewhere, the only fights we have here are when the guineas decide the chickens are too close on the roosts
