Immobile hen...

My hen is mostly sitting, isn't going up to perch at night, when out in run, she sits. Tail feathers are DOWN, looks uncomfortable Appetite okay. I can't find any obvious injuries. Help much appreciated.

You didn't give much information. If she is laying age, and not wormed or treated for lice/mites, probably the most likely causes are worms, lice/mites, and a problem with the egg laying system. If she gets a lot of corn or scratch instead of layer, this could also be the problem.

First of all

If this hen is laying I would check her vent area and between her legs for a hard mass that may indicate that she is egg bound. If she is warm sitz bath and a massage with oil is in order. Good luck with your hen.

She is 3 yrs. old. What do you suggest for treatment?

I don't mean to be abrupt, but we need more information, what you feed her, whether you have ever wormed her or checked for lice/mites, whether she is laying or has any unusual swelling or warmth in her belly, does she seem thin or light compared to the others, for starters.
