Ok, need some advice here.
I have a one year old Silkie with an impacted crop, she is not walking and hasn't been for a week now. What started this was she was pecked badly by some of my other hens. She had wry neck but it seems to be ok at the moment, treated her with vitamins and electrolytes. Discovered a few days ago she had an impacted crop. Been doing yogurt, vegetable oil and massage and of course water and I add ACV sometimes. Got the crop down about half its size and she had some ok poops but it is still solid as a rock. Today she seems much more lethargic and is pushing her butt up against the cage, I think she is constipated. She had been doing a little better each day but today she doesnt look as well, I was hoping for more poop. Can I give her an enema? Is she really constipated or is it something else? How can I tell? Help! Thanks so much!
P.S. I've been feeding her by a dropper. How much water should I be giving her. I usually get at least 20 droppers full a day (not including the yogurt mixed with water), is that not enough?
