Impacted crop for 4 days

Hello all,this is the 4th day my hens had an impacted crop. I've been massaging it since I first noticed it and today I have gone out and it still hasn't gone down. She did a very gross looking poop today and I'm scared she needs operating on, is there anyone in the Bristol area who may have operated on their own hens before who could help me?

Are you checking the crop in early am when it should go down? I would give 1-2 tsp of coconut oil, chilled and cut into small pieces for her to peck. Offer water throughout the day, and let her have some very watery chicken feed. Here is a good article to read all about crop problems:
