Impacted crop

Help! I just got home from back surgery...literally just now. I think our rescue house (from last fall) has an impacted crop... she's going down fast.. what can we do?

I'm so sorry! Try gently massaging her crop and make sure she's getting lots of liquids, you may have to get her to drink with a syringe. Have you smelled her breath to see if it's sour crop? I had a hen with sour crop, and I didn't have to go quite so far as this, but I know some people recommend getting your bird to vomit. They force water down, then hold the bird facing downward while massaging the crop, making sure to allow flip the bird upright and breath.
