Impacted crop

Once again... I have a suspected medical condition in my Black Australorp hen . She has a large, firm crop that is not emptying overnight or at all. Is it impacted? Her breath isn't bad, so I ruled out sour crop. What do I do for impacted crop? Advice please!

First you verify what crop disorder she has. Next you treat the probable disorder. The treatment depends on which disorder you're trying to treat.

Treating impacted crop involves coconut oil chilled to hardness for convenience and safety. Then massage, then more oil and massage. It can take all day to treat successfully, so prepare to dedicate most of a day to it.

Update #2: Sadly, my girl passed this morning after taking a sudden turn for the worse. Thanks for all the help, @azygous .
