I have a brown Brahma bantie hen who was looking fluffed up and she did go a little runny poop and I put her in small cage with heat and water and food just to observe her and today her croup is hard as a rock. I was wondering if anyone can give me direction on how to get it moving and loosened up.

The first night segregated I'd offer her water, possibly with acid cider vinegar ( 1 Tbsp/gal), and it's important to figure out what's in there. I've had 2 experiences, one with a hen who crammed herself with grit, and late on, one who ate her alfalfa nest. What are they thinking?

Any idea what's in there?

Some ways to assist them here-
