Impending Silkies

Just got great news. Last year a fellow BYCer was kind enough to give a great home to my two silkie roos, and I just got news that one of them is a proud new daddy! I'll be picking up silkie chicks soon!!!

(though I am definitely going to let her pick out the ones she thinks are females. My batting average with roos is kind of embarassing

).

Congrats.. I have one little silkie- who was kind of an accident- I never thought the egg would actually hatch when I put it into the incubator. But the little one has turned out such an adorable little thing with so much character. It was just so adorable when it was tiny..That huge big bump on the top of its head..

Hope you end up with a good ratio and not too many roos.
