Important about lock down fast or the chicks will die

Do I need to do lockdown or can I just not do it because for some reason when I candled my eggs some were younger than others that's y

What day are you on? And did you set all the eggs on the same day? If you can give us some more info we can try and advice you, but I can't say much from your post, sorry!

Never mind because most of the eggs I cracked today were rotten and had bacteria....did I have to wash the eggs before I put them and is it ok I open the lid twice a day

Dont wash the eggs. Dont open during lockdown.
