Important News for Home Medicators

I can't imagine now having to pay a vet bill and WAIT for an Rx to arrive after getting a prescription, for something we've already been treating our cattle for. We keep certain antibiotics in the fridge, insurance against future problems.

Meanwhile I've had to argue a couple times with dog/cat vets over why they're jumping straight to antibiotics for extremely small problems. One time I was quite casually given a human-relevant antibiotics that I'm allergic to with no mention of what it was (definitely my bad for not scrutinizing the label until I got home, but I was just handed it like it was a nutritional supplement or something!).

2 types of people:

1. That doesn't mind fiddling and fussing with their animals to see what will work to get them better.
2. That just wants something fast to work, because they don't have time to fuss with hundreds of animals or tons of other things to do and can't afford to lose them.

Btw I meant this reply in agreement/support of what I replied to not against it. I realize it might have not looked like that (sorry). I don't think the new rule is even handed is what I was getting at.
