Okay so I have a friend who has 6 full-grown chickens. She has an Americana, (I do not know how to spell the actual word, so bear with me) a Buff Orbington, 2 Rhode Island Reds, a Golden Comet, (and, guess what? I don't remember the other chickens breed!). When one of her Rhode Island Reds, Jane, was younger, there was an accident, which caused Jane to have a limp for a while. We ALL believe that she was deeply scarred, because she has turned into a pecking machine!! Every time someone walks into my friends coop, Jane attackes that persons feet, with flaring of her feathers and ferociously pecking her victims feet. They have NO clue what to do! Has anyone had this problem? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO????!!!!!

It's not possible for them... They have to fefil food and water, lock 'em up, and collect eggs. Also, what about cuddles?

I go into my chicken yard with a big stick. My rooster steers clear. He has no qualms about coming at me when I'm on the other side but he has learned what the stick means and leaves the area. My hens are all good
