Hi all, newbie here!

We have 6 new chicks, 1 BO, 2 EE, 1 GW, 1 SW. And two very happy little girls (3 and 5)...

Wondering if the new chicks will imprint with both girls? Or should we have the older child bond more closely with the group?

Let both your girls bond with the chickies!

Congratulations

Imprinting will go through different stages IMO, as chicks they are a little more receptive to being held and stroked and made warm & comfy. Then as pre-teens they become flighty and agitated well into adult hood while trying to establish their ranking in the order, then it seems they will settle into a more comfortable feeling about the person who feeds them and offers treats. This behavior is normal but as far as the term imprinting goes, not so much with chickens.
