I know the title is silly, but I didn't really know what else to call it.

Okay, so, here's the short story-version:
My neighbors have chickens, and I think they currently have two Barred Plymouth Rocks,
and most of their chickens are friendly, but really won't let me pet them, but one BR finally took food from my hand the other day! :celebrate And then again today! :yesss: And, not going into more details, it was a huge feat for her. :clap

Next step...
Petting her, Lord willing.
And then.
Trying to hold her?
:D

Thanks! You too! :)
Sorry, I kept editing it, trying to get it where it made sense, but where there wasn't so much to read. Because I noticed the longer the post I make, the harder it is to keep interested, if you know what I mean. :P

Update on how this is going:
I've had several chances to pet the hen, but I haven't quite attempted yet, as she's just recently getting a lot braver, and will just walk up and take the food now. She's got three other birds, the red hen and other BR--and even the rooster a couple of times--taking food, too! The little bantam I haven't seen as much lately isn't taking any from my hand yet, though.
