In CT, anyone want to split an order of chicks?

Hello, I don't know if anyone does this or not, but I was looking to order just a couple more chicks and can't really get the larger minimums from hatcheries. Looking to see if someone near me wants to split an order...

Check out "my pet chickens.com" They have a 3 chick minimum.

Thanks, yeah I saw them but I don't live in a major city so I would have to order more. I have an email into them because they are located in CT but I don't think they let you pick them up from them.

Where in CT? I am in Rhinebeck, NY, but don't want to get a shipment until August.

You're right about the non "major city" add-on. I e-mailed them too - they aren't in CT.

I was all set to make a field trip. FYI, I just called my son's elementary school and they'll be hatching chicks for 1st grade science. So, I volunteered to take some when they are ready. Any schools you can call? Good luck!

mypetchicken has their main office here in CT but their hatchery in in Indiana or Iowa. I am in SE CT. I'd like Marans but they only have the ones I want as eggs. They do, however, have bantams I'd like to have, where are you?

I'm actually in Scotland so, you are close. I'm new to the chicken world for sure but loving every obsessed moment of it. lol
