In lockdown, lost power - please ease my mind!

I've got 27 eggs in lockdown as of last night. This afternoon, it was 94 degrees and 75-77% humidity and 3 eggs had pipped. Somewhere in the last 2 hours, one of the dogs knocked the power cable loose and now the temperature is 84 and the humidity is 86%. Is this going to be a problem for the 3 that have pipped? the rest?

Is it on right now? As long as the humidity didn't drop below 55% which according to you it didn't they should be fine. All the non pips are definitely fine. Don't panic and just wait it out.

Thanks so much. Last year we made the mistake of opening the top too much and ended up shrink wrapping a couple. I've got everyone on orders not to touch the incubator at all this time! Of course, the dogs don't listen.

4 chicks out and staggering around! Yay! I can see pips in about 6 more eggs. One egg had a large pip last night while we were watching the first egg hatch. This morning, that egg has a dime sized hole, while 3 other chicks went from pip to out. Has anyone had a chick take several times longer than the others and still be ok? I'm just hoping my nephew won't have to watch this chick die in its shell.

If the chick is making a hole and not turning in it's shell, making a "cap" on the top of the egg to push out, then it probably is stuck. It's okay to wait a few hours, and if it hasn't progressed, take the egg out of the bator and "help" it out.
Take bits of the shell off and if you start seeing blood, stop. Put it back in the incubator and wait a few more hours. Then repeat.
