As far as emotional attachments are concerned, they usually re-bond with the new group of chicken within 24-48 hours, so if that is keeping you from swapping, then this bit of info might help. My ladies are pretty happy hens right now. Ridding of one of the speckled sisters just would not be the same. I will have some hens to offer up to you later in the season as I have lots of chicks growing right now.
