I have a rhode island red pullet that has started to have slightly bloody stool, any ideas on what could be causing it?

It could be normal, periodic sloughing of her intestinal lining. Probably you'll need to post pictures. :) Does she have any other symptoms? How long has this been going on?

If you haven't seen it already, check out the poop chart http://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=17568.0. There should be pictures of intestinal lining poos. There is a huge range of 'normal' poo.

I tried to get a picture but now I can't find any! I checked out that link you posted, seems like she's looking pretty normal. It was a very small amount and only on occasion, thanks for the reply! I'll keep checking!

Well I found a new one this morning
