In over my head or no??

I recently have gotten 12 baby chicks from the local TSC.
Does anyone think i'm way in over my head being a newcommer to raising chickens and starting off with 12?

Heck no, alot of us start out with the 25. It's all what you can handle. I started with three and now have over 100 laying chickens and 50 plus marans.

Yay!! we started last year in March with 27 chicks, first timers! We just got another 6 new chicks this week, they have become addicting. And yes, these forums are addicting and SO helpful! Congratulations
