in search of a good egg salad recipe

Yup, the recipe section has an index of recipes, you'll be there all day!

But I always add a little chopped bacon to egg salad, and a dab of bacon grease for creaminess! YUM!

i searched through a couple but thought maybe a fresh thread needed to be started. is there anything a little more gourmet or fancier?

Well almost anything can be added to egg salad.
I like fresh onions finely diced. or a bit of relish added.

But thinking on it, Fresh basil would be nice. or some freshly grated cheese, Lettuce adds a nice crunch, or celery.

There's only so much you can do with egg salad!

I can say that I will only use Hellman's Mayo- I imagine homemade would be even better. Lots of fresh parsley, dill, Dijon mustard - I can't really think of much more.

Oh Ranch, I am so with you on Hellman's. Only homemade is an acceptable substitute. I also like my egg salad simple but have put pickled okra in on occasion.
