A lady that breeds colored egg layers lives near me and I can tell you her birds are amazing and healthy and very high quality. She just started offering shipping this year, so it's possible you could get some pure breds from her. She has Marans that lay dark brown OR have a purple bloom, Orpingtons that lay pink, bantam OEs that lay a beautiful green, and Ameraucanas that lay a very lovely blue. She is pricey but SO worth it if you can afford the hatching eggs. She's on facebook at Bombshellchix. She's super quirky but she loves her birds.
