No, they're all first generation. the olive egger pullets are from the same pairing. If you notice the penedesenca eggs are various shades. I assume the pullets laying the darker olive are applying more brown pigment just like the ones laying the darker brown eggs.

Here's what's in my egg basket every day:


There are a variety of breeds in here, so it would be kind of hard to name off every one, however, I will give you the gist of it.

Darkest egg: Black Copper Marans, Other darker eggs: Blue Splash Marans, Welsummer, and Silver Laced Wyandotte. Light brown eggs: Various Rocks (Barred, White, Partridge), Speckled Sussex, Black Australorp, and Buff Orpington. Blue and green eggs: Blue comes from both an EE and a Cream Legbar, and the green are EEs and Mallard duck. White: Bright white comes from Golden Campine and Silver Spangled Hamburg, and cream/off-white comes from Khaki Campbell duck. Whew, that's a lot to identify!

As you may already have noticed, we like a large spectrum of egg colors.

Wow! All the colours are AMAZING! That is what I dream of! I have 3 cream legbars and getting some black copper marans, so I'll see if any of them lay similar colours to those beauties! Thanks for posting
