Hi everyone -- I don't own any birds YET but plan to get some when I retire. I currently work for a state department of agriculture and am creating a free publication for fair managers and volunteers who do bird check-in exams if/when a veterinarian is not available. The publication will have photos of conditions and signs of concern such as swollen joints, mites, lice, pale comb, diarrhea, abnormal eye/nose discharge, ruffled feathers, depression, etc... all the signs sick birds can have. If you have high-quality photos of any sick birds, would you be willing to share them with me? I would credit the photographer however you request. Unfortunately, I have no funding to pay for use of photos; I can only pay you in gratitude.
