Mist whimpered in a bush. She said to Falcon "We need to find somewhere safe."

Falcon thought for a second "My burrow is just a few yards in that direction" He nodded toward the east "We can hide there"

Snare covered up the burrow and laid down.

Raeleigh laid down beside him

Marana shook excitedly. She licked him back

Hawk took one more step toward her, then froze "Do you hear that?" He asked.

Mist shivered and said "That's where my brother died. Really nearby. This is the hunters' favorite place to hunt. Could we move please? I can help you make a burrow."

Snare curled his body around her.

Mist shivered and said "That's where my brother died. Really nearby. This is the hunters' favorite place to hunt. Could we move please? I can help you make a burrow."

Falcon nodded "Okay. But I'll have to come back and explain to my brother where I've gone. But that can wait. Let's just get far away from here"

Vivian finally walked away and started hunting. She followed a mouse's scent trail only to lead her right to Hawk <>Why do I bump into everyone I meet?<> she asked herself as she bumped into Hawk. "I am so sorry!" she yelped.

Marana froze and drew close to him "What?" She said, nervous

"Hunter" Hawk said quietly "Quick, follow me; we can go to my burrow"

Mist said lovingly "You lead the way."

Snare licked her back.

Falcon took off in the opposite direction from his old burrow, slinking low to the ground. He felt almost guilty for doing this. Before, his main concern had been sticking with Hawk and keeping him alive. But his priorities had changed; and he was liking it.
