Hi! This isn’t too important but I’m curious, I went to Rochester museum of play and in their butterfly room, a jungle like room for creatures such as butterflies, tortoises, toucans and these tiny little birds, they had these adorable little flightless birds but I can’t figure out what they are and forgot to ask, are they members of the quail family? They’re so so tiny I have to be careful not to step on them. Any idea what they are if they’re not? I believe they’re exotic birds…
They did tell me the males are the ones with the blue and red feathers

King quail/painted quail/button quail do best in temperatures above 60. I am glad that they have heat lamps to warm up under. <3
Not heat lamps actually! They have an entire glass room full of exotic jungle plants kept in high humid temperatures and lots of light to raise butterflies in and have a few other fun critters!
