So sad to see a house that has been left to rot. I bet it was a beauty in its day.

It's the Bennett School for Girls in Millbrook, NY.

Bennett College entered bankruptcy in 1977.
The title was acquired by a savings bank subsidiary, but that one went out of business in 1991, and were seized by the FDIC.
More info through the above link. Its on the National Register of Historic Places, but the town wants to tear it down and build condos.

They should refurbish it and turn it into condos that way- much nicer than any new construction condos would be.
