Yeah it is super creepy - the monkey thing, I keep seeing that face everywhere even when I'm not on this thread. Now that they have added "Shelob" the spider to the mix, this thread just isn't safe to peruse with open eyes. Maybe we could have some braille threads - I wouldn't be able to read them but at least I wouldn't see creepy crawly stuff.
 
Much appreciation for the video on " IZ" , curiosity sent me to the web store. My brother has been to Hawaii several times and loves it - I really think he would enjoy a dvd with "Over the Rainbow" on it.

I always tell non-chicken family & friends, that BYC people have a wide range of cultural interests. I could not count all the wonderful finds that have come from this thread and others. I'm really growing as a person from new found knowledge and experiences, even though I still am only 5' tall (I round UP).

My gamer/youtuber watching kids have exposed me to so many things that are so much worse, I rather like the monkey - I find her only moderately creepy. The spider - well, that is the creepiest jumping spider I've ever seen; the ones I'm used to are fuzzy and not really creepy at all (once you get past all those eyes!!)

But between you and me, the creepy crawlies that I can't see are far worse than the ones I can.

My nephew has a female friend that lives in Connecticut that he has been talking to online sense he was 11. She took a turn at trying to talk me in to driving him up to visit. I told her I was not going to Connecticut but I would stuff his butt in a box an ship him up there. She said OK!

I sent her these pictures the next morning...
