I never gave it any thought until one day my grandfather sweetly told me that he appreciated me doing these small and considerate things for him and grandma, but that "any good engineer will tell you that it has to roll over the top."
He was so funny.
i can not handle it any other way now.

I asked him how it could be any different physics wise, and he told me it is 'closer to my aged and arthritic body.'

My family will dig out a new roll, but they have not figured out the complex mechanics of the dispenser yet.

I grew up with stuff like this.

Or a roll sitting on the outhouse bench if there was a roll at all.

(That was the 1980s by the way)

If nature intended it to dispense from under then why does my TP have flowers emobssed on the top facing outward?

I have this figured out. If the TP is smoothe on one side and not smoothe on the other, the "not smoote side hangs under. Because when pulling the "not smoothe" side down it comes down folded with the "not smoothe" side ready to use. And you want the "not smothe" side on your B..... for cleanliness.
Is that too much information?
