Neat Rebel. The guy who wrote that Jim - can't think of last name just now also wrote & performed my favorite 'VEHICLE". He lives in the area.. and quite a few years ago performed at the local school to raise funds for a project of theirs.

I was lucky I wandered in way too early and sat in the first row, dead center. What a performance he put on!! And free! He did sell his CD and autographed it. I had no idea that would happen and didn't have a dime on me. Oh poo!

He promised he'd tell the circumstances under which he wrote "Vehicle," but, he never did. He sometimes works on lyrics when he is at "Moondance Café." out here. My email alert sound is the opening bars of Vehicle. You might say I love me, that song.

Jim also told how he got home one day and found a message on his machine from Sly himself, leaving a phone number. He was blown away when he discovered he was actually talking to Sylvester Stallone who wanted a song for a movie. That's how "Eye of the Tiger," came to be.

I consider "that" to be my big, brush with celebrity.
