Oh my gosh, that is a huge job! I hope it's warm for them to really dry out. My hens would whip my butt if I tried that with them..no eggs for my for days and days for sure. I hope you get some rest after all this!
Once a year I bath and de-flea all my birds (all 59 of them!). I do a coop at a time, bring them in and bleach and permethryn spray (I think it's called) the coop so it is dry for the next day when the birds have dried out properly to go back into them. They stay in a dog crate in my conservatory overnight.
They kick up a fuss sometimes but they all love the hair dryer!!
