We had a county road re-paved (finally) and that winter the entire thing was destroyed by ice heaves.
I can not imagine the cost for northern states to keep their roads passable. If they are not buried in snow, they are torn up from the snow.
Then again, we do not have state income tax.

Must have done something wrong ? We never have frost heaves . If they just patched the roads they will always go back to what they were ...........a lot of preparation required too get it right
