Well everyone down here talks real slow. No one is in a hurry for nothing. Stopping for gas can take for ever after you talk to everyone hanging out at the store just to talk..Yup. We northerners are all in a hurry to get nowhere. And apparently talking fast will get us there sooner. Unless you're from my mom's family. They talk r e a l l y s l o w. And I didn't inherit that quality.
When I am up north talking to people I get odd looks... You can tell for the first minute or so they are trying to figure out if I am "special" or just from the south... Especially when I start up conversations in the gas station... Thats always fun to do when north of Kentucky...
