Having a German ancestry it was a common thing to hear a cuckoo clock growing up at home , my father always wanted a grandfather clock , but settled for a wall version instead that rung every hour and did the whole twelve rungs at twelve , can't say I miss it ? but these are interesting

I have a lot of German in me. Have had the coo coo clock, and the Grandfather's clock. No clocks that were extra special in my home, or a grandparents, just mine.
