That is wonderful detail.
Did you get a picture of the entire thing?
(I know museums are starting to discourage that)
They permitted photography (but no flash) of all except one painting in the exhibit. Here is that full painting. It's the earliest one in the exhibition. His work is very rich and densely packed with details, story telling and ornamentation. He uses a lot of gold leaf and three dimensional elements often embossed or carved, to make the surface even richer.

Detail of an annunciation, painted when he was around 60 years old. The sheep in the background are perhaps 1" tall, he needed to use tiny brushes with just a few bristles, and each sheep's leg has details of light and shadow to express the anatomy and life. As he got older his work got more detailed, refined and patient, but his overall style and approach was very consistent throughout his career.
