I showed this to a friend that was the same age and said she had no idea. There are some people that don't even know what cassette tapes are... even if they weren't popular when you grew up how could you not know what they are?

That's crazy... While I was growing up that's all we had. I still remember the first time we got a CD. We still have most of our tapes, though some are sadly deteriorating.

I still have my 8 track player and tapes although I haven't played them for a while!
